SEA Welcomes Analyst Drew Ramirez Through Co-op Partnership with Drexel University
The Strategic Exit Advisors (SEA) team is pleased to announce that Drew Ramirez, through Drexel University’s co-op program, has joined the firm as an Investment Banking Analyst.
Drew Ramirez is a Finance Major at Drexel University, double minoring in Entrepreneurship and Data Science. He is actively engaged in several organizations at Drexel University, including the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA), Drexel’s Finance and Investment Group and the Society of Security Analysts.
Prior to joining SEA as an Investment Banking Analyst, Drew founded and managed his own streetwear resale business for two and a half years before attending Drexel University. The experience sparked his interest in the mechanics of financial markets and investing, leading him to serve as a deal sourcing intern for a boutique private equity firm, Texas Legacy MP. After completing the internship, Drew was committed to expanding his knowledge in finance and investing and had the opportunity to explore the venture capital landscape through Drexel University’s Innovation Fund where he evaluated early-stage startups potential for investment.
In his free time Drew enjoys snowboarding, Rubik’s cubing, and maintaining an active lifestyle by lifting weights, hiking and playing basketball.
SEA’s partnership with Drexel University was in part inspired by Curt Cyliax, a Drexel graduate and former co-op student. SEA’s goal as a partner in this program is to provide the co-op with real work experience by integrating participants into live deals and prospect outreach. The Drexel co-op experience empowers students to succeed, allowing them to graduate with up to eighteen months of full-time experience in a professional environment.
